At a meeting of the Auckland branch of Jthejfatipnal.Council of Women, held last evening, a. resolution was passed to the effect that the lifting of the 5 per cent cut should Bβ "made retrospective to old age- pensioners, as well.as to civil servants and members of Parliament. Another resolution carried was that free railway passes should 'be granted to relief workers in camp who wish to visit their families at the week-ends. A lengthy discussion took place on the milk question, and ft motion passed was later rescinded.
