YOUNG MAN INJURED.
STRUCK BY MOTOR CYCLE. GOING HOME FROM DANCE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, this day. While on his way home from a dance at Bombay shortly after midnight on Saturday night a young man, Mr. Roland Smith, aged 20, of Bombay, was struck by a passing motor cycle and had his right leg fractured above the ankle. The motor cycle, which was ridden by Mr. Lambert Newnhnm, of Bombay, skidded in some loose metal and struck Mr. Smith, who was thrown to the ground. Mr. Newnham was also thrown to the ground, but escaped any serious injury. After receiving attention from Dr. A. T. Begg, of Pukekohe, the injured man was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital.
