SHEEP AND LAMBS.
EXPORT RESTRICTIONS. GISBOENE, Sunday. One of the proposals put before the meeting of the Sheepowners' Federation was that fanners should be encouraged to freeze their sheep and lambs at a younger and lighter stage. This was suggested by way of reducing the total weight of meat exported from New Zealand and helping to meet the restriction. It was decided to forward the recommendation to the Government and the Meat Board.
