Story of Big Game Hunting in Africa. CHASE BY ELEPHANT. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 5.
The diary of the Prince of Wales, written during big game hunting in Africa, is being published in the autumn. It was edited by Mr. Patrick Chalmers, who declares that the entries were jotted down in the light of the camp' fire aiid show a happy descriptive style with all the enthusiasm of the hunter. The Prince tells the story of an escape from a maddened elephant moving at 50 miles an hour.
