ESCAPE AT CROSSING.
EXPRESS STRIKES LORRY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON - , this day. A cream lorry owned by Mr. A. Mclnnes, of Tauwhare, and driven by Mr. A. J. Bannan, was involved in a collision at the Seddon Road level crossing with the Auckland-Tauranga express. The train struck the vehicle a glancing blow, crumpling a mudguard and causing other minor damage. The lorry driver escaped injury.
