MARIPOSA IN PORT. I DEPARTURE OF MAEAMA. Bad weather down the coast delayed , the arrival of the liner Mariposa this morning, and the absence of one of the stokehold staff delayed the departure of the Maranra. Eain hampered cargo operations to-day. To-morrow a fruit car . o is expected from Rarotonga, and on "Monday a sugar cargo from Java. Mariposa arrived from Sydney this morning and after a hold-up in the « roan berthed at the King's wharf. SI e is to sail at 5 o'clock this afternoon in continuation of her voyage to Los Angeles, via Pacific Islands. (H. and M.) Marama was delayed for eight hours in the stream after she had left the Prince's wharf at midnight for Sydney. A stokehold hand was found this morning to replace one absentee, and the liner left at S a.m. (U.S.S.) Orari sailed last night for London and west coast ports of Great Britain. She is due at London about August 31. (N.Z.S.) Karetu is due from Cook Islands tomorrow afternoon, and will discharge at tho Queen's wharf. She proceeds then to Wellington. (U.S.S.) Antonio left this morning after cleanin" and painting in the Calliope Dock. 'She is to hunker at Newcastle before loading wheat in Australia for Europe. . (B.P.C) Port Brisbane is loading at the Queen's wharf, and is to sail on Monday afternoon for London, via Cape Horn. (F.C.A.) Inverbank reports that she expects to reach Auckland on Monday evening from Java with a cargo of raw sugar for discharge at Chelsea. (Spedding.) Golden Coast is scheduled to arrive at noon on Monday from Los Angeles with general cargo from the Pacific Coast. She is to berth at the King's wharf, and 6ails later for Wellington and Australia to complete discharge. (H. and M.) Rangitane expects to arrive from London on Tuesday evening with passenger*, mails and cargo. She will discharge at Auckland and Wellington. (N.Z.S.) Abel Tasman is expected on Monday from Australian ports, and is to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttel•ton, Dunedin and Bluff, (N.S.S.)
