DAVIS BEATS McCONACHY. SYDNEY, July 23. In the fortnight's billiards match Joe Davis (England) beat Clark McConachy (New Zealand) by 1773 points. The final scores were:— Davis, 19,793, including a break at the last session of 782. McConachy, 18,020, including a break o£ 705. Tho winner had led throughout the match. VULCAN LANE TOURNEY. The Vulcan Lane billiards tournament was continued last night, when L. Holdsworth (50.behind) eliminated F. Forrest (150 on). Holds-worth ran to points with the scores 500 to 447. The tournament will bo continued tomorrow night, when T. Ticrney will meet L. A. Burke.
