COMING MUSIC FESTIVAL.
This year's Festival of Music, organised by the Auckland Society of Musicians, will be beld in tbc Lewis Eadv Hall on August 20, 21 and 22, with Mr. H. Temple White, of Wellington, as adjudicator, being followed by a demonstration concert. Nearly 3.00 entries have been received to date for these competitions, and the closing date has been extended from yesterday for one week. Thirty classes, including pianoforte, violin, 'cello, chamber music and vocal sections, have been provided. Eight of the solo classes have been restricted to performers of various ages under 21.
