AMUSEMENTS.
MUNICIPAL BAND. A recital was given in the Town Hall last night by the Municipal Band. Miss Kay Christie gave renderings of "O Love From Thy Power" (Saint Saens) and the ever-popular "Hame," being recalled on each occasion. Solos and duets were given by Messrs. R. Jackson, F. Bowes, H. C. McLennan and P. W. Eastoe, all being encored. Many fine selections wcvg given by the band. Wagner's "Lohengrin, and the "Academic Festival," by Brahms, were exceptionally well' rendered. A programme was also given by the band in the Zoological Park in the afternoon.
