NEXT BEF. MATCH.

CLUB REPRIMANDED.

The next representative match, for the English Trophy, to be played against Wellington, will foe-staged at. Blandford Park on July 14. Advice was received at the meeting o£ the.Control Board of the Auckland Football Association last even-, ing that the , visiting team ■ would be selected after July 7, and that the playere would arrive in Auckland on Friday morning befoi'c the match. The provincial. final of the Chatham Cup competition at Hamilton has beeu post-dated to July 28, owing to the necessity for a replay of the drawn game between Ponsonby and Abels. The Xe\y Zealand Council had notified its compliance with the extension of time. The South Auckland Association forwarded a request from the Wanganin Association for the North Island Chatham Cup final to be played at Wanganui. In view of the extra travelling involved, and as the competition involved clubs and not associations, the board decided to advise the South Auckland Association that the clubs concerned should be consulted. A letter received from a club by the judicial committee was forwarded for the board's consideration. The committee considered that the letter was couched in exceedingly objectionable terms, and asked that the board deal with the matter. It was decided to write to the club concerned advising that letters eo expressed were not acceptable to the board. Complaint was also received that a supporter of the same club had on occasions at Blandford Park made very objectionable remarks, and behaved in a manner not in the best interests of the code. In view of the fact that this spectator had previously been warned, legal action will be taken if the offence is repeated. The New Zealand Council advised that they had informed the South Auckland Association that its request to challenge for the Campbell Rose Bowl couldn't be entertained, as the competition was solely between the Auckland and Wellington Associations. . A suitable room is to 'be acquired for the better accommodation of referees at North Shore, according to a letter from that club. , ~ . A request from the Netherton relief camp for a football was referred to the South Auckland Association. . Tho following ground officials were appointed:—Blandford Park, Mr, W. Walker; Victoria Park, Mr. G. L. Adams; St. Helier's, Mr. L. Munro.
