YACHT VECTIS.
BACK TO AUCKLAND.
The keel yacht Vectis, built three years ago at Stanley Bay by Mr. B. S. Woollacott and later owned by Mr. D. Ferguson, of Kerikeri, Bay of Islands, was purchased yesterday by Mr. P. R. Colebrook, of Parnell. Tho Vectis is 32ft overall, Oft Cin beam and sft Gin draught. She has the modern Bermudan rig, with mainsail, jib, staysail and jib-topsail. As auxiliary power, a 0 h.p. Kelvin is fitted beneath the cockpit, with the propeller shaft going through the quarter. The fore and main cabins have Oft headroom, and the yacht is well fitted below. Messrs. M. and A. Colebrook, who have had experience in the motor boats Mpllic I. and 11., hope to cruise extensively in the Vectis, which was built specially for this purpose. Tho yacht is being put in commission at Kerikeri, and will leave the basin on the coming spring tides. Messrs. C. Harrison Smith and A. Colebrook will sail her back to Auckland this week-end.
