WAR PENSIONER'S DEATH.

ADJOURNMENT OF INQUEST,

The war pensioner, George Nicholas Holder Jeffery, aged 54, who was knocked down by a motor car in Khyber Pass on the evening of June 18, died at the hospital last evening. He resided with his wife and family at Hill Street, Newmarket. An inquest was opened by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., this afternoon, and adjourned sine die after evidence of identification had been given.
