TOLL OF THE MISSING.
LOST WOMEN OF BRITAIN.
LONDON - , June 26. Forty thousand women and girls are registered as missing on the police records in Britain every year. This fact indicates the difficulties of the detectives in connection with the discovery of a woman's body in a trunk at Brighton on June 18. They are still without a clue to the unknown woman, who was murdered, and cannot discover the head of the victim.
