At the meeting of the junior manage- | ment committee of the Auckland Rugby j League last evening, Mr. D. Two complaints about the short play- j ing of matches were received, one gfhne I being found in order and the other re- j ferred to the Referees' Association for a report. The secretary of the Glenora Club, Mr. McNamara, sought information regarding the powers of senior clubs to take juniors. He did not care to give a ruling regarding Brady, who appeared for Newton on Sat- . ui'day, but mentioned that the junior club could not stop a player's promotion if he j was financial, which was the equivalent of a clearance.
