DIED IN POVERTY.
THEATRICAL MANAGER'S END. (Received 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 24. Clyde Meynell, the former theatrical manager, whose death was reported last week, died in poverty. He had eked out a precarious existence as a locum tenens for two years, using the family name of Dr. van Straubenzee. He occupied a single room in a London boarding-house. He had practised as a physician and surgeon before entering on a theatrical career.
