PROPOSED ROAD IN DOMAIN.
"Ex-Dunedin" accuses Aucklandere of being apathetic about the proposed road in this Domain. He may not know that when the proposal was mooted, two years ago, very many' protcets were made by letter, meetings and deputations, and the City Council was plainly shown by public 'hostility that they were not going- to have the road. Surely once should _be sufficient. There was certainly no mistaking public feeling on the matter, and there should have, been no occasion for a second protest. Anyway, tho matter is in very able .hands at 'present, and if the protests of the Museum Council niidfallied societies fail, "Ex-Dunedin" will Find Aucklanrlers just !iis keen and. alive to 'their civic responsibilities uo Dunedin.
