MODEL AERO CLUB.
The Kestrel Model Aero Club held its weekly outdoor meeting at the Domain. Introducing a new type of event was :i semi-scale model competition. This received many eager supporters and several good flights were made, the host of which was achieved by Sir. H. Parker, the winner. Another popular event was tlir- spar model competition, in which many different types of models were flown. Mr. R. Stables attained a flight of 1 minute 50 seconds r.0.g., thus creating a new record. Mr. A. Weaver's 'plane, which was lost last Sunday, was rctnriip/l by Mr. A. Wood, whom the club wish to thank. The results are as follows : — Silver Prop 11. L.—W. Stewart 1, 0. Hardy 2, S. Edwards 3. Fuselage R.O.C. —C. Farrlngton 1, A. Weaver 2, 11. Parker 3. Semi-scale Model H. 1..—11. Parker 1, M. Francis 2. .1. Knight 3. Spar Model R.O.G. —K. Stables 1, M. Francis 2, 11. Parker, J. Knight and W. Hopkins, a tie.
