PAKURANGA HUNT.
MEET AT HOWICK. The Pakuranga Hunt met at Howick on Saturday and several good runs were provided. A hare was put up on Mrs. H. Andrews' place and later crossed to Mr. G. Soinerville's land and went on to Mr. J. Nicholas' farm. From there it crossed to Cockle Bay Road and ran toward Howick, but it was eventually lost. Returning to Mrs. Andrews' property, another hare was soon found, but it was not long before it was run to earth. Another hare was accounted for on the same property. A hare was started on Mr.' R- Hnttnway's place and took the hounds across the farms of Mr. T. Haslip, Mrs. Andrews and Mr. J. Wilson, eventually being killed on Mrs. Andrews' land.
