PONSONBY CROQUET.
An enjoyable afternoon gathering was held at the Ponsonby Bowling Club card room last week, when the Ponsonby Croquet Club held its third bridge and 500 afternoon. The winners of the prizes were: Bridge, Mrs. Adams; hidden numbers, Mrs. O'Sullivan; 500, Mrs. Taylor. The hostesses were Mesdames Lonergan, Lucena, Smith and Miss Turkington. Among those present were: Mesdames Aitchisen, Torrence, Hilton, Adams, Cox, Campbell, Norden, Taylor, Hayter, F. E. Bell, Lightbourne, A. Williams, E. Walrond, Kirk, Goldsmith, Hunt, S. Mangan, Williams, A. Bell, Christianson, Rowe, Reynolds, E. Bell, Rowbottom, J. Cohen, J. Hopwood, B. A. White, C. E. Hardley, H. Morton, R. B. Graham, O'Sullivan, Nicholson, W. Percy,, Kennett, Sneddon, Horsley, Frieberg, Thomas, Colthurst, Healey, G-. Foster, Smith, Lonergan, Lucena, Missas H. Hardley, Christiansoii and G. Turkington. ,
