LOTTERY PROFITS.
£702,000 A YEAR IN N.S.W. (Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. The profits from the New South Wales State lottery in the past 12 months totalled £702,000. Sales of tickets have fallen off by 500,000 in the past three months owing to severe competition from the Queensland lottery.
