DEATH OF YOUTH.
I COMPANION ALSO INJURED. I (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) - TIMARU, Tuesday. The death occurred in hospital tonight of Ivan Smith, aged 18 years, a resident of Timaru. who was. knocked down by a car in Wai-iti Road last night. The driver of the.car was Mr. J. R. Nimmo, of Dunedin. Mr. G. Elgin, who was walking with Smith at the time of the accident, was also knocked down and rendered unconscious, but his injuries are not serious.
