DWELLING AT HUNTLY.
CONTENTS AM. DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, this day. Firo totally destroyed a. six-roomed dwelling in Glasgow Street, Huntly, owned and occupied by Mr. James T'eden, about 2.30 yesterday morning. Smoke in his bedroom awakened Mr. Peden, and he ami a brother who resided with him had to ninkc a quick exit, having only time to snatch up a fe»v clothee. Their mother, who also lived with them, was away at the time. Tho contents of the dwelling;, includin<j several orchestral instruments, were destroyed. The house was insure , .! for £350 in the New Zealand office and tho contents for £200 in tho Alliance office.
