TELEPHONE BOXES.
SELFISHNESS OF USERS. ■ (To' tie Editor.) Early one evening just recently I made my way to a slot telephone, and upon arrival a person entered before me. The thought of having to wait my turn for a few minutes did not worry me in the least; but having waited five, then ten, and finally fifteen minutes before the user came out was beyond a joke, I thought. This is not the first occasion I 'have had to stand by while some senselees and selfish, person jabbers incessantly without any' thought for anybody else who may be waiting to use the 'phone. It is people of this kind .who inconvenience others when there are trams and buses to catch and appointments to be kept. I am sure many people will agree with me when I suggest that a time limit of five minutes be strictly adhered to in telephone boxes. Let me respectfully urge ■ the Post and Telegraph Department tot take this matter up. FIVE MINUTES.
