Mrs. W. B. Darlow presioVd.at a meeting of the Birkenhead Women's Aeedciation. At the invitation of the Borough Council, Mrs. J. M. Cassie, Miseee A. G. Willis and I. M. Wood were appointed to the committee being set up to consider the establishment of a public library. Mrs. Stanley Mills has convened ci meeting of all members interested, at her home, for Tuesday evening, the 20th inet., to advance the formation-of a diamatic circle.
