THIEF IN GARAGE.
A thief who broke ' into J. Burr's garage at Kumeu last night stole a few shillings from a drawer in the office, but overlooked a caehbox containing several pounds. An attempt to break into the office from the outside was unsuccessful, but {he thief entered the main garage through a window, and was then able to reach tho office. The tools in the garage were not disturbed.
