DAIRY CLEARANCE SALE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANXJAREI, this day, Messrs. ' Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report holding a clearance sale yesterday on account of Messrs. C. R. and E. A. Wilson, of Pakotai. It was a disappointing sale, and there were very few buyers present owing to the weather condition*. Approximately 100 head of dairy cattle were yarded, and the greater portion was passed. Competition' was slack. Top price paid was 72/6 for a particularly nice Jersey row, third calver, on behalf of Mr. C. R. Wilson. Other prices ranged from 57/6 to 70/; Jersey heifers, to 40/.
