TARANAKI CONCERN'S YEAR. A net profit of £10,768 1/5 is revealed in the twentieth report of the Fanners' Cooperative Organisation Society, to be presented to the annual meeting of shareholders at Hawcra on June 30. The directors recommend the payment of a 3 per cent dividend, absorbing £6302 16/3. Further, the directors recommend the addition to the general reserve account of £2500; the transfer to an insurance reserve account of £500; the carrying forward of the balance, £3413 12/11. "The future holds many problems, and in view of this and of the uncertainty of all markets to-day, the directors feel that their policy of strengthening the reserves is one which merits the approval of the shareholders," states the report.
