Mr. W. Good fellow leaves for Wellington by the Limited to-night. Sir George Elliot leaves for Wellington by the Limited this evening. Mr W. E. Hale has been re-elected chairman of the Thames Hospital Board. Mr. Harvev Turner left for Wellington by the express yesterday afternoon. Mr." C. O. Morse has been re-elected chairman of the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board. Mr. M. Kockc O'Shca, registrar of Auckland University College, is visiting Wellington. The Hon. C. J. Carrington, M.L.C., arrived from Wellington by the express this morning. Sir Cecil Day, official secretary to ths Governor-General, leaves for Wellington, by the Limited to-night. Sir George Fouids left by the Limited last evening to attend a meeting of the council of the Massey Agricultural College. Mr. C. P. Earle, registrar of the STew Zealand Institute of Secretaries, returned from the South by the Limited this morning. Mr. J. A. C. Allum left for Wellington by the Limited last evening to attend a meeting of the executive of the Municipal Association. Dr. J. J. Foley, deputy-superintendent; of the Xapier Public Hospital, has been appointed superintendent, commencing from July 1, in place of Dr. A, C. B. Biggs, who is retiring. Mr. Bernard Goodman, vi o lias been on a brief visit to Auckland after a residence of four years in London, left yesterday for Wellington to join tho Makura, en route to London. Mr. Ray Fuller, representative of Sir Benjamin Fuller in Auckland, leaves for Wellington to-night to attend thp funeral' of his brother, Mr. Walter Fuller, who died suddenly yesterday.

Mr. E. C. Hands, general manager of the New Zealand Broadcasting Board, arrived from Wellington this morning, and is at the Grand Hotel. He goes South again by the Limited to-night.

Mr. R. U. Laing, manager of the Kaitaia branch of the Bank of Australasia, has been appointed manager of the Hastings branch, replacing Mr. J. :M. Curtis, wio lias been appointed subinspector at Wellington.

Mr. J. M. Elliffe and Mr. A. M. Seaman leave for Wellington by tli3 Limited to-night to attend a special meeting of the council of the New Zealand Society of Accountants. They expect to return on Saturday.

Mr. T. U. Wells leaves by the Limited to-night for Palmerston North to attend a meeting of the council of the Ma secy Agricultural College. Thenco he will go to Wellington to attend a meeting of the Carnegie Educational Research Institute.
