UNUSUAL PUZZLE.

TO-DAY'S COMPETITION. Everyone enjoys puzzling out a conundrum, but in the picture puzzle arranged to-day you must search for the question before setting about the problem of finding the answer. All you have to do is write out neatly upon a sheet of paper.the riddle asked in the picture sentence, and beneath it draw in picture language your answer. For example, if you thought the riddle was "What is left when all the tetters are taken away?" you could either draw a pillar box or else first of all sketch a pill inside the letter R and after it sketch two men boxing. For the most cleverly pictured correct answers received at this office by Wednesday next eight half-crown prizes will be awarded.
