The monthly meeting of the school of methods was held on Monday morning in the' temperance room, Unity Buildings, when Mrs. Kasper, district president, presided over a good attendance of members. The "Evangelistic Department of Work" was the subject for study. This was introduced by Mrs. Burnett, district superintendent of the department, and proved very helpful. "Chairmanship" was dealt with at the afternoon session, examples being given of the correct way to conduct a meeting. Twenty-seven members attended the district executive meeting, held later in the afternoon. Two visitors were warmly welcomed, Mrs. Hutchinson from Australia, and Mrs. Haywood from Taranaki. Arrangements were made to .have a stall and rest room at the Winter Show, and a' fair ..and jumbls sale for district funds I in. the AireftUe Street Mission HalL
