BIRKENHEAD SEWERAGE.
QUESTION OF OUTFALL. Touching the proposed sewerage scheme for the borough of Birkenhead, a letter was before the Auckland Harbour Board from the Birkenhead Borough Council yesterday afternoon, asking if the board would raise any objection to the outfall being constructed at a point approximately midway between Kauri Point and the Colonial Sugar Company's refinery wharf. The matter was referred to the drainage committee.
