STEAMER ASHORE.
MISHAP IN PHILIPPINES. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. A report has been received in Sydney that the steamer Changte, outward bound from Sydney to Hongkong, is aground at Zamboanga, in the Philippines. Some of the passengers were transferred to a passing vessel en route to Manila. It is expected that the Changto will be refloated at high tide to-morrow. Tlio Cliangte is fast on a sand bank, but the vessel's plight is not considered dangerous. A tug is standing by.
