CITY MISSION.
The Governor-General and Lady Bledisloe were present at a service held last evening in the Epiphany Church in celebration of the fourteenth anniversary of the Auckland City Mission, and his* Excellency read the lessons.
The missioner, the Rev. Jasper Calder, in an address based on the work for tho mission, recoimted numerous stories. He said that his companions were the happiest people lie liad known, particularly when their work was seen to result in definite achievements, such as the children's camp, the Whitneyda'.o Convalescent Home, the medical clinic and guild work.
