SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
MAORI SEVERELY WOUNDED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Suffering from a severe gunshot wound in his chest, a Maori named Monty Tu, aged 20, was admitted to •the VVaikuto Hospital 011 Saturday from lvawliia. It i.-i stated that Tu wan engaged 011 a fencing contract in bush country, and left his hut with a singlebarrelled shotgun for a day's shooting. Ho was later found 100 yards from his hut with a serious wound. His condition is serious, but not critical.
