CATHOLIC CHARITY BALL.
Arrangements have been completed for the holding of the Catholic charity ball, which will be held on Wednesday evening at the Town Hall, and the function promises to be one of the most brilliant of the season. There will be the presentation of some twenty-eight debutantes to his Lordship Bishop Liston. The orchestra has been augmented, and will play for a continuous succession of dances. In reply to popular requests arrangements have been made for a longer period of dancing without in any way detracting from the presentation ceremony. Tlie supper arrangements are in the hands of the ladies of the Catholic Women's League, while special sub-committees are in charge of the presentation ceremony, decorations and lighting. The proceeds are to be devoted to the assistance of the orphanages.
