STRUCK CENTRE-POLE.
A passenger in a motor car which collided with a centre-pole in Manukau Road about 4 a.m. yesterday, Miss Elizabeth Ashworth, of Glenalvon, Waterloo Quadrant, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from minor head injuries. The driver of the car, Mr. A. Adams, and a second woman passenger were cut by broken glass, but were able to go home after treatment at the casualty ward.
