Irish Senate Throws Out the
Abolition Bill. HELD UP FOR 18 MONTHS. (Received 11.30 a.m.) DUBLIN, June 1. The Irish Senate rejected the second reading of the Senate Abolition Bill by 33 votes to 15. Thus the bill will be held up for 18 months unless the Government wins an election in the meantime.
