DOMINION CHAMPIONSHIPS.
PLAY AT NAVAL BASE
The _ 1934 squash racquets Dominion championships commenced at the naval baso at Devonport this afternoon. There were 18 entries, including some from as far south as Picton. Results of to-day's play were:— First Round.—Hall beat Robertson, 9—o, o—l. 10—S: Archdall beat Vogel, 9—3, 5—9, 9—7, 9—7. Second Round.—Birch beat Fenton, 9—5, 9—l!, 9—o : Calill beat Tweedie, 9-—.'l, 9 —5, 9—l ; Graham beat Nichols. 9—3, o—9, 7—9. 9—7, 9—6; Vogcl beat Weekes, D—3, 9—l, &—2.
