OWNERSHIP OF HORSE.
INQUIRIES BY STIPENDIARY STEWARDS. SYDNEY, May 29. The stipendiary stewards of the A' ictovia Park Racing Club are investigating the ownership-of a gelding named Shield, by Rossendnle, which, as a yearling, was sold to C. Brown for 320 guineas, and later was acquired by J. T. Jamieson for 170 guineas. Later still it appeared in the race book as owned by L. Browning and trained by W. Gander. DISPERSAL OF STUD. MR. A. P. WADE RELINQUISHING BREEDING. SYDNEY, May 29. A. P. Wade, who is relinquishing the breeding of thoroughbreds, is to hold a dispersal sale of horses next month. They include Marcomgram and 36 brood mares. Wade owned Colugo and Top Gallant, and for a brief period had Night Raid, who afterwards was sold in New Zealand and. sired Nightmarcli and Phar Lap.
