WOOLWORTHS' SOCIAL.
A bright dance was given at the Amateur Operatic Society's rooms, Giatton Eoad, last evening, when the social club of Woolworths', Ltd., entertained a number of their staffs and friends. Special lighting effects and floral deco rations gave the liall a bright and colourfill appearance. Luring the evening a demonstration of modern dancing given ,by Miss and Mr. Stratton. The committee were: Miss Bagrie, in a black lace over satin; Miss A. Creedon, whit's angel skin lace; Miss T. Creedon, pink chiffon; Miss McTavisli, green taffeta.; Messrs. ltobinson, Harris, Riley and King. The managers present were Messrs. Storey, Robinson and Lister. Among those present were: Mesdames Storey, Robinson, Larinan, Misses Cruise, Seal ley, Aston, Oliver, Thompson, Kist, McAuley, Rudling, C. Witty, Hargraves, P. Kyan, G. Witty, Hunt, Levy, Pine, Ronsori, Shaw, Elisor, King, Casey, Banks, Copeland, Healy, Mayal, MacGregor, K. Walsh, Fergus, McCombe, P. Crew, Buckworth, Munro, Watson, Harvey, Moore, Paul, Stenlake, Waters, An twigs, Brown, B. Ryan, L. Walsh, Alley, Lorrimer, Crook.
