RUGBY BROADCASTS.
WELLINGTON ARRANGEMENTS

WELLINGTON', Tuesday.
Tho chairman of the Wellington Rugby Union, Mr. J. Prendeville, reported at a meeting of the management committee of the union to-night that satisfactory arrangements had been made with the Broadcasting Board, and broadcasts of Rugby matches were to be resumed. The board had undertaken to broadcast matches without interruption in future. On race days football would be broadcast from one Wellington station and racing from the other.
The motor vessel Maui Pomare will leave Wellington on June 19, on .her second trip to Western Samoa. There was heavy booking on her first trip, and the success of these excursions, which will continue throughout the winter, is said to be assured. Details are advertised.
