! A trophy shoot was held at the Whakatane Defence Rifle Club range on Saturday. The conditions were 10 shots each at 500 and COO yards ranges. Leading scores: H. G. Rand 40, 45, handicap B—aggregate 93; Shaw, 37, 43, 10—90; A. J. OxenI ham 40, 44, 3—87; E. W. l.e-vton, 38, 1 38, 10—86.
