COMPLETE SURPRISE.
Change Effected Without Shot Being Fired. PREMIER ASTOUNDED. LONDON, May 20. The Sofia correspondent of the "Sunday Times" says the coup d'etat was effected without the fireing of a single shot. The first the deposed Prime Minister, M. Mouehanoff, heard of the coup was when he was awakened by a frightened servant and told the house was surrounded by troops. He tried to telephone to the War Ministry, but received a reply that communication had been suspended. "But I am the Prime Minister," said M. Mouehanoff. The answer came: "You are Prime Minister no longer." Yugoslav circles welcome the Zveno group's accession to power in Bulgaria, as a plank in its platform is a rapprochei ment with Yugoslavia. ~
