DESTROYED BY FIRE.
WORLD'S OLDEST THEATRE. LONDON, May 20. The world's oldest music hall, Barnard's Theatre, in High Street, Chatham, where Charlie Chaplin first practised his famous walk and where other famous comedians first appeared, has been completely destroyed by fire. In the early days the theatre gave three hours' good entertainment for a penny.
