The annual dog trials held by the Te Kulti Collie Club torniinated on Saturday. Results :— Class 1 (long head, pull and hold in the ring).—Fraser Smith's (Awakino) Highland King. 47J points. 1; K. J. McDonald's (Dannevirke) King. 43J, 2; A. Sutherland's (Kangitoto) Fly. 30J, 3. Short Head, Pull, Drive and Yard.— Fraser Smith's Highland King, üBJ points, 1; R J McDonald's King. 04£, _»; J. JleHardy's (Taibape) Jack, 50, 3. Huntaway (through three sets of flags).— J. Caswell's (Onewhero) Scott, 4-' points, 1 ; Fraser King's Don, 34, 2. The McNaughton Cup for the dog scor{ng most points in the long head was won by F Smith's Highland King, which by gaining most points in Jott g'tEP*W Events also secured the F. King Cup. w. Trembath. of Arnpae. with Niggi-r, whlcn 1 ad a so been very successful at the. Piopio trials, won the D. Neal Cup for thn dog Hecnrfng most points in the long head r.nd hui h wav classes. J. Casweii, with his do- Scott secured the R. Mowatt rose bowl, as°thn winner of the huntaway event. Grnr-'C Sutherland, with bis dog Kep. obtained both the Auctioneers' Cup for the local novice dog scoring most points in the long head, and the A.
