HURDLES TO WAYBACK. MELBOURNE, May 20. Wayback won the hurdles and Red Earl the steeplechase at the Williamstown races on Saturday. Bannya, a popular choice for the Grand National Hurdles, in which he ran third last year, defeated a smart field to win the Bay View Handicap, one mile and a quarter. The ex-New Zealander Sir Qucx was unplaced in the Juvenile Handicap, and Cape Fair in the Beach Welter. Results: — KOROROTT HURDLES of £300. About two miles.
