BADMINTON.
MOUNT ALBERT CLUB. Tho annual meeting and opening night of the Mount Albert Badminton Club took place last night. The balance-sheet disclosed that the club is in ji very sound position and the signs augur well for a successful season. It was decided to enter a team in the association's inter-club coinpetition. The following officers wore elected :— President, Sir. B. W. Wylllej secretary, Mr. .T. L. Stevens; committee, Messrs. S. A. Stevens, L. Nicklin, S. K. Scott and K. A. WTiarte; delegate to A.8.A., Mr. E. W. Wyllle.
A team from the Parnell Club, comprising 'Messrs, MeCrystal; Southon, Langjjuth and Ellett, played a number of exhibition sets, followed by a short talk on stroke production by Jack McCr.vstal, both of which were keenly appreciated by the Mount Albert members
