INDOOR BOWLING.
A.F.S. CHAMPION FOURS. SULLIVAN SCOKES AGAIN. The Auckland Friendly Societies' Indoor Bowling Association champion fours tourney was concluded at Ponsonby Drill Hall on Saturday afternoon and resulted in a win for the Victorian A.O.F. team skipped by Fred Sullivan, wno lias won this event on several occasions. The win this year was meritorious, us he had a team of players comparatively new to the game. The final of 11 heads was fought out with Mount Albert 1.0. K., skipped by Bert Baker (last year's champions), and provided a stirring contest. Victoria established a lead of G in the first three heads, and Mount Albert required 3 to tie on the last head and obtained 2, Victoria winning S—7. During the tourney a presentation of a solid leather bowl case was made to Bro. F. A. Harris, one of the founders of the association, who has just completed n term of five years as president. The presentation was made on behalf of the association by Bro. F. Hammond, new president, who referred to the great services rendered to members and indoor bowling in general by the recipient, who suitably replied. Results on Saturday were :— A SECTION.
