SECRET CARGO.
Russian Ship Stranded in Far East. BRITISH SALVAGE DECLINED. HONGKONG, March 22. A British salvage tug has returned to Hongkong after fruitless attempts to refloat a Russian motor ship, the Kuznet Zlessou, which went ashore on the Pratas Islands while voyaging from Leningrad to Vladivostock. Tho stranded ship was too heavily laden to move. Tho Russian captain studiously refused to allow a salvage party near the holds. The nature of the cargo is a secret. However, it is known to include a river gunboat in sections, several 70ft launches and much machinery. Another Russian ship now is standing by the Kuznet Zlessou, and a third is expected soon.
