JUVENILE WORKERS.
Remarkable Position Revealed In London. SHORTAGE OF LABOUR. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 22. A notable recovery in juvenile employment at the end of last year is recorded in tho report of tho London Advisory Council on the subjcct. At tho beginning of the year juvenile unemployment in London was very severe, but the trade recovery produced a remarkable situation toward the end of the year. Each month many hundreds of excellent vacancies in the West End and City of London remained unfilled.
In December, when tliero were only 1017 unemployed juveniles on the register of tho 22 London employment exchanges, more than 4000 vacancies were available. These vacancies were for juveniles of all ages.
